About the Event

This class provides an opportunity to join in an exploration of these fascinating trials, as well as consider how the story of Salem and portrayal of  witches has developed over the past three centuries.

Maya Rook is also a direct descendant of a confessed witch from the Salem witch trials and shares family history throughout the discussion.

Maya Rook of Illusory Time is a cultural historian, college educator, and yoga instructor living in Mid-Coast Maine. She offers a variety of engaging events that include explorations into a range of both popular and obscure historical topics, as well as meditative and magical practices.
