Umckaloabo root (African Geranium)

Umckaloabo root (African Geranium)

1 Ounce

Meaning “heavy cough” in Zulu, african geramium has been used as a traditional remedy for respiratory ailments. Herdsmen also called this plant “Kalverbossie”, meaning ‘calf bush’, and used the woody roots to treat stomach complaints in their animals. Cape herbal medicines traditionally use it as a tonic for weakness, digestive issues, and fatigue.

A bit of the root can be carried as an amulet to attract happiness and prosperity. It can also be used in spells to encourage conception, successful pregnancy and safe childbirth, especially in sympathetic spells.
